What’s in the bag or purse you carry around when you go out? I love to see the products my friends have. I find some of my best items this way.

The following are 11 of my most useful purse essentials

*Thanks for using my affiliate links and supporting Ounce of Salt when you buy through my site, at no cost to you!

1. Canon G7x Mark II

My boys gave me this camera for my birthday, and I love it. It is small and light enough to take with me everywhere. The picture & video quality are great, and it’s easy to use. This is a popular “vlogger” camera.

You won’t use any of the accessories other than the data card and battery, so don’t get confused and fall for the buying options with bundles. The link below is priced right in the mid $500s.

2. Stila eyeliner

I’ve tried many eyeliners, but this one is my all-time favorite.  It stays on, it’s easy to apply, and it lasts a long time! I use it for my upper eye-lids, but sometimes I’ll also accent the outer sides under my eyes.

3. Portable Charger RAVPower  Battery Pack with Dual USB

This portable charger juices my phone faster than even an iPhone charger in the outlet! I don’t leave home without it.

4. Louis Vuitton key pouch

I’ve had one of these since I was in my 20’s and it holds my life! It doesn’t have to be this brand, but the ease of having my driver’s license, credit cards and cash on my keychain is pretty convenient.

5. Jo Malone Perfume

I don’t carry the whole bottle with me, but I do hold testers I get from them. It’s a fresh and fruity fragrance that’s not too heavy.

6. Trader Joe’s Sugar-Free Mint

I feel naked without these. Love that they are sugar-free!

7. Justin’s Classic Almond Butter Packets

When I was on the Whole30 diet (visit my latest post to learn more), I carried these around with me as my rescue food when I had cravings for something sweet or needed something to tide me over until I got home. They taste so good, I now always have them to choose over sugar-laden food.

8. Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Brightening SPF50 Sunscreen

I can’t live without this compact powder! I found it before I went to Africa last summer. I use it all the time when it is sunny. I love how it also gives me foundation-like coverage.

9. Iope SPF 50+ face sunscreen

I use this on my neck when I’m in the sun, including times when I am driving. No need to age quicker than necessary!

10. Notebook and Pen

Sometimes I get ideas, and I need to write them down versus putting notes into my phone. It’s handy to have a hardcover notebook and pen.

11. Business cards

Is it outdated to carry business cards? Each year I have some left over from my blogger conferences so I carry a few with me to give new friends or contacts I make when I’m out. I figure it’s an easy way to remember me and faster than typing each other’s contact information.

I have to admit, though, I gave my card to a couple of new acquaintances at my last get together, and they thought I was strange? Who knows. I was just trying to be friendly!

So those are 11 of my most useful purse essentials. I wonder if you have any of the same items in your bags?
