Back to my routine! What I learned traveling for 1 Back to my routine! What I learned traveling for 16 days,
1) Indulge in moderation. Don’t skip the dessert in fear of gaining weight. YOLO!
2) Walking does work to burn fat! I ate more than usual but walked more than usual too which canceled out the extra food.
3) Do something at least every other day to get your heart rate up even if you have to improvise. I ran a few miles whenever I could, and used the hotel gym when it fit in my schedule.
4) As much as I love bread and carbs in general, I realized it’s empty calories that are usually not worth it. I try to load up on protein and veggies first.
4) Sometimes a rest from your workout routine is good for the body. Back to the gym today, my body was much more efficient than usual!
Let’s go, ladies! We can be our healthiest selves at midlife. This is 52 💪!
Budapest. I’d say it’s one of my favorite citi Budapest. I’d say it’s one of my favorite cities! Traveling opens our minds. New cultures, new surroundings, new experiences. I had a wonderful trip exploring Eastern Europe. Roaming around alone, with acquaintances, and strangers helps me learn about myself as well as the world around me.
